While I am a not a big football fan, I did make a few things for the family and friends to munch on for dinner and snacks.
Are you up for a no-fat brownie recipe? Here goes:
Still in the Weight Watcher's mode, so I was looking forward to having some chocolate.
these are 1-pt brownies, and they aren't bad at all!
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup +2Tbls cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
3 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
(1/4 cup walnuts which are optional, and if used brownies are 2 pts each)
Combine the flour, cocoa, sugar and salt. Mix well, then stir in applesauce, egg whites, and vanilla. Fold in nuts if using.
Coat an 8 inch pan with cooking spray. Spread batter evenly in the pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or just until the edges are firm and the center is almost set.
Let cool, nad sut into 16 2-inch squares

I'll keep posting recipes as I go along, as I have scoured the internet for good looking recipes that are weight watchers friendly! There's a ton out there, and I think I'm on page 12 of a Google search!
